Best Slime on the Market!
Non-glue, easy-to-use, and won’t stain your hands
Go beyond glue slime and make the world’s best slime using Steve Spangler’s Slime Art. Each kit comes with six colorful 240 mL (8 fl oz) bottles of high quality PVA (polyvinyl alcohol). What makes our slime formulation unlike anything else on the market is the addition of stabilizing agents that help to reduce the growth of bacteria while preserving the stretchy, stringy, gooey properties of slime that everyone loves. Recommended for children ages 6 and up with adult supervision.
What does it teach?
Making slime is a great way to introduce the concept of changes in states of matter (from a liquid to a solid), to demonstrate the process of cross-linking long chains of molecules, and to explore the science of polymers.
How does it work?
Slime Art is like microscopic spaghetti – long chains of slippery, slimy molecules called a polymer. The Activator Solution links together long polymer chains to form the world’s best slime. Keep your slime in a zipper-lock bag for safe storage. Keep off of carpets, wood surfaces, or any place you think slime will cause damage.

Each bottle will make 8 – 1 ounce batches of Slime. How many batches you get will all depend on how much slime you want to give each student.

Is there a way to buy additional Slime Art Activator Solution separately from the Slime Art packs? I always seem to run out before I have used up all the slime in the pack. Thanks in advance. It’s a great product!

Customer Service –
The Slime Art Activator Solution is not sold separately at the moment. Check out this experiment page: http://www.zantewrk.com/lab/experiments/glue-borax-gak/ It will walk you through how to make your own activator solution with supplies from home. The result is pretty close and will work when used with our Slime Art Goo.

When drying the slime do you put crumpled up foil under it to get these amazing 3D shapes, or what? Please explain the process to get the 3D shapes. Looks exciting and fun!

Kathleen, thanks for the question. When drying slime I would suggest to dry it on a glass table or granite counter top. If you put a fan near by it will give some air flow to start the dehydration process. While it dehydrates it will start the slime to curl. Once the slime is dry you can use a simple counter cleanser to remove any slime residue. Enjoy the Slime Art! Joshua
